Since 2003 I'm constantly active in the digital creative area so my expertise has become valuable in many different fields.
Working on a wide variety of projects and accepting multiple challenges, I have developed my skills both as a creative designer as well as an advanced developer, gaining knowledge on most used technologies and techniques.
The start
I started as a Flash designer/developer, learned a lot of Photoshop and followed through with interactive websites, until I fully mastered ActionScript 3, ActionScript 2, Flex, AIR.
Among the way I had to master HTML, CSS and JavaScript, to have a full view about the front-end.
Many times, websites had to present dynamically generated content, but the available tools weren't flexible enough. Therefore, I have mastered PHP and MySQL, and decided to do my own framework. I'm currently working with a great PHP/MySQL/smarty framework, very flexible and fast, with multiple levels of cache, and up-to-date to the latest needs for SEO and social sharing.
BTW, at that time, there was no big difference between back and front-end developers :))
Having a dominant inclination towards design and animation, I had to work with After Effect, 3ds max, Maya, and other tools in this field.
The change
In 2008, observing the market trends, I was sure that the future was going to be mobile.
Therefore, I started with the iOS SDK, mastered making apps for Apple devices, and later continued with the Android SDK and Windows Phone 8 SDK.
Recent times
Being an enthusiast about all new technologies, I had to have fun with Augmented Reality, Smart TV, Unity 3D, Oculus Rift SDK, Microsoft Kinect API, Arduino Micro-controllers and Wearable devices.
In 2013 I won Mobile Awards Romania with a personal project, Amazing Space Journey.
This was my first attendance to a contest.
In 2014, I worked on an in-store shopping experience, using the new iBeacons (Bluetooth LE) technology, and made an iOS app for Nestlé.
